About Us The Pinellas Park Fire Department is charged with providing fire protection and emergency medical services for the City of Pinellas Park and a surrounding unincorporated area of Pinellas County under the direction of the Fire Chief.

The fire department operates four fire stations, which are strategically located throughout the Pinellas Park fire district.  The fire department is comprised of three divisions.  The Life Safety Management Division provides public education, fire safety inspections of multi-family facilities, schools, and commercial businesses, fire safety code enforcement, fire scene investigations, plan reviews, and firefighter training.  They also stay deeply involved with the community by providing CPR classes, free smoke alarm installations, and fire extinguisher training. This division provides public safety education including fire safety, injury prevention, drowning prevention, hurricane preparedness, falls prevention for seniors, and child safety seat inspections.

The Operations Division oversees the daily operation of the department which includes fire suppression, hazardous materials response, technical rescue, and emergency medical services.  This division responds to over 13,000 emergency incidents on an annual basis. The Operations Division also oversees the Fire Explorer Program which offers anyone between the ages of 14 and 21 the opportunity to investigate firefighting as a career.

The Administrative Division is led by a civilian Division Director.  This division is responsible for support staff for the department, budgetary and financial guidance, and the maintenance of department facilities and vehicles.
